For iwi and hapu led events

The Kaupapa Maori Event Fund supports events that celebrate Māoritanga (Māori culture) in Tauranga Moana.

The fund is designed to support events that celebrate tangata whenua and tikanga Māori, while raising awareness of events of historical and cultural significance across our rohe. Examples include Matariki and Waitangi Day celebrations.
