Matariki Events
The Tauranga Western Bay Community Event Fund prioritises Matariki events that:
Demonstrate their alignment to the meaning of Matariki.
Are run by Hapū/Iwi or show collaboration with Hapū/Iwi.
Align with the current Matariki theme for the year.
For events held in celebration of Matariki in 2025, please apply to Round 4 (closes 20 October 2024) of the current funding year.
